I 'm excited to share a new series that I worked on this weekend. The theme is based upon the four seasons. To me, the seasons can be viewed as a metaphor for our life cycle. Spring correlates to birth and growth, Summer relates to adolescence and innocence. Fall represents maturity and Winter can be a symbol of old age.
I was fortunate to work with a wonderful professional dancer, "Estelle M." She took my rough sketches and ideas and turned them into poses and gestures that were expressive and dynamic. I'm thankful that we had the chance to collaborate on this series and hope to work with her again in the future.

Here is another version of "WINTER". I think this work relates better to the vertical image of "Fall". I have a feeling that I'll be spending a lot of time exploring this them and ultimately create the final four images of the series. I enjoy the process of "playing" and "experimenting" with different ways of creating the images. Working through a series continually challenges and interest me.
