Anthony Almeida, who serves as the Chairman of the Photography Initiative and 3rd Vice President of the Salmagundi Club, will be a featured photographer in the exhibit. Almeida’s images not only capture a special moment in time, but invite the viewer to connect with the work both emotionally and conceptually. Almeida quotes, “It's been said that finding happiness involves enjoying the scenery along life's many unexpected detours. I delight in panning for visual gold, and when my muse abides, encountering that elusive revealing image that defines an event, ennobles the human spirit, or brings me closer to the quixotic but sometimes realizable goal of changing the world, one megapixel at a time.”

Anthony Almeida “The Dance of Life”

Mark Battista is a nationally recognized photographer and painter who specializes in Still Life imagery, as well as composite images that merge form and content in expressive ways. The subject matter explored is often used as a visual metaphor representing themes such as transformation, resilience and the effects of time.

Lou Zucchi is a CT based photographer who often creates dramatic images inspired by the human form. Light is used to reveal and conceal parts of his subject for dramatic effect.

Ann Cyr works exclusively in film. Her work interprets the movement and gesture of her subjects (often dancers) and uses time, light and the element of chance to create evocative images.
